Why can't I follow/unfollow any more people?

Right now, the overall following limit is 2000 and this is applied to all subscriptions. This is in place to help prevent spam activity within the community.

You may also notice a restriction on the number of accounts you can follow and/or unfollow within a day. This limit is based on your regular account activity, when your follows/unfollows exceed this, your account will be flagged. This means if you're planning a clean up of your followings then you'll need to space this out over a couple of days.

If you do hit this limit please wait 24 hours for it to pass. If you are repeatedly flagged you’ll run into a block and will not be able to follow or unfollow accounts, so please take this information into consideration.
