Be wary of phish!

Ever heard of phising attempts? (it's got nothing to do with fish....)

When somebody sends you a link (maybe in a message, comment, email or the like) trying to get you to enter your SoundCloud password on a site outside of the soundcloud.com domain (it may still look like soundcloud.com) we call that phishing. It facilitates the malicious sender to use your account credentials to hijack your account, and use it to send out spam or more phishing attempts.

Therefore, be sure to never give out your log-in credentials to any third-party providers, and always double-check the URL in the adress bar of your browser to make sure you are logging in to soundcloud.com, and not an unrelated/misspelled domain - no matter who has directed you there.

If you're unsure whether you are on the right domain, just type 'soundcloud.com' in your browser window directly, or follow the link below:

If you think your SoundCloud account has been phished, log in to your profile, and reset your password immediately.

If you are unable to log in and feel your account has been compromised, please contact us on trust[@]soundcloud[.]com and we will get back to you as fast as possible!
