Some features have moved, where can I find them?
As well as adding lots new ways for your sounds to be discovered and shared on the site, some features have moved. If you are wondering where some things have gone, fear not, this article will help you find your bearings.
Your Pages
Links to your Stats, Sets, Likes and Settings can all be found in the header. Clicking on your profile picture will open the drop down menu shown below.
Spotlight
If you are looking to highlight your favourite creations, Spotlight enables you to pin up to five sounds or sets to the top of your profile page. To find out more, take a look at this article.
Private Sharing
Secret links make private sharing quick and easy, but if you are looking to share your sounds and sets to specific people, you can still add and remove recipients on the edit pages of sounds and sets. Read more about private sharing here.
Dropboxes can still be accessed by adding /dropbox to the end of a profile’s URL (e.g. http://soundcloud.com/seams/dropbox). Sounds shared to your dropbox will be pushed to your Stream.

If you want to be notified of sounds that are shared to you in this way, you can enable email notifications at http://soundcloud.com/settings/email
Favourites in Stream
All new Reposts let you show off your taste to your friends and followers. If you repost someone’s sound it will be added to your profile, and pushed to the Streams of your followers. Sets can be reposted in just the same way. As part of this change, the likes of people you follow are no longer pushed to your Stream, so only the cream of the crop will reach your Stream.
Groups
Groups can be found with our improved search tool, and by using their direct links. For more info, check this article.
Widgets & Quiet Mode
Our full selection of Widgets remain the same, accessible from the ‘share’ dialogues of sounds and sets, and Quiet Mode settings for sounds can be found on their edit pages.
