What is Spotlight? How does it work?

Available with any of our Pro Plans, Spotlight allows you to pin up to 5 items (either sounds or sets) to the top of your profile page's stream. After your Spotlight selection, your most recent sounds and sets are shown in reverse-chronological order.




To add a sound on your profile to your Spotlight selection, click on the "Edit Spotlight" button at the top of your public profile (https://soundcloud.com/"your username here")



You can then search for one of your sounds to highlight by typing in the sound's title or selecting the sound from the drop down menu that will appear when you click into the Search box. Once you have your selected sounds added to your Spotlight, remember to click the "Save" button.




The Spotlight will be ordered by most recent addition to oldest addition. To remove a sound from Spotlight, go back into the Spotlight edit mode by clicking the "Edit Spotlight" button and then click on the "X" at the top, right hand corner of the sound. Click "Save" again.
