Some podcast apps require a valid address to be displayed if you wish to use their service e.g. Spotify. You can choose to display, or hide your email address on your Content Settings page. 

If you choose to not display your email address, which is our default option, the email "feeds@soundcloud.com" will be displayed in your RSS feed instead. However, this might cause some apps to reject your RSS feed as previously stated.
