We no longer send new follower email notifications. The reason we are doing this is to make sure that all emails are successfully delivered from SoundCloud's email services. As many of these emails are not being opened when received, or being reported for spam, we risk our reputation as email providers being damaged. 

In the meantime, you will still be notified about new followers via push notifications via the SoundCloud Android app, as well as our onsite notifications on your SoundCloud profile. 

Please note: We do not currently offer push notifications on the iPhone or iPad apps.
