SoundCloud now defers any links to external sites through our deferral URL https://exit.sc. 

By doing this we are able to check external sites against a database of blocklisted URLs that have been deemed potentially malicious, harmful or spammy. If you click on a blocklisted URL, you will be warned with the following message:



We block certain sites to ensure the safety of our users and their accounts. We flag any site that is suspected for hosting content that goes against our Terms of Use such as containing pornographic content, phishing scams, spam or malicious software.
