Adding a title and URL when uploading a track

Clear track titles help your fans know exactly what they’re listening to. Avoid duplicating information that’s displayed elsewhere. Track titles must be between 1 and 100 characters, and support for emojis is not available at this time.

To edit a track title at upload, simply click the ‘Title’ box under ‘Basic Info’.

Under ‘Title’ you will see the ‘Permalink’ field. This URL is updated based on changes to the track title. You can also edit this URL directly if need be.

In the event you have a collaborator on your track, include your name and the collaborator’s name in the ‘Artist’ field within the ‘Metadata’ section at upload. This information does not need to be included in the track title.

When uploading from a label or media partner account, title your tracks as ‘Track Title’ and include any artist names in the 'Artist' field from the metadata section.

Podcasters and journalists: include important information like celebrity guests and discussion topics. Think of your track title as the headline for your track.
