I don't have access to my email or password
We take the security of our community member's accounts very seriously. If you’ve forgotten, or lost access to the email address attached to your SoundCloud account, we’ll do our best to help. Please follow the steps below to see if you can regain access to your account:
Sign in with Facebook
If you have connected your Facebook account to your SoundCloud account, then you can sign in with the 'Sign in with Facebook' icon to regain access.
Recover your email address
If you are aware that the email address you have connected to your SoundCloud account is no longer active, then please review the account recovery steps for your email provider. Which email provider did you use?
- att.net, or sbcglobal.net
- AOL, or aim.com
- btinternet, btopenworld, or talk21.com
- gmail, or googlemail
- hotmail.com, msn, or hotmail.co.uk
- live.com, windowslive.com, or live.ca
- mac.com, me.com
- yahoo.com, ymail.com, yahoo.co.uk, yahoo.ca, or rocketmail.com
Once you have reactivated your email, you can send a password recovery email to it by clicking 'Don’t know your password?' when signing in.
I can't recover my email address
We take the security of our community member's accounts very seriously. If you’ve lost access to the email address attached to your SoundCloud account, we’ll do our best to help. But keep in mind, if we’re not able to verify you as the account owner, we cannot give you access to an account.
To help regain access to your account, please file a ticket at the bottom of this article answering the relevant information below with as much detail as possible:
- Confirm the email address associated with the account
- When was the account created?
- When did you last sign into the account?
- What IP address was the account accessed from last? You can find your own IP by Googling “what is my IP”
- Do you know the name and/or upload date of any private tracks on the account?
- Do you know the name of any tracks which were previously deleted from the account?
- Please provide an email address that you would like attached to the account instead. Please note: the email cannot already be attached to a SoundCloud account.
Okay, I wrote to Support and answered all the questions. What happens next?
Our Support team will be getting in touch with you as soon as possible. If enough of the information you provided matches up with what’s on the account, we will add the new email address to your account and send a password reset link to it, as well as update you via correspondence.
