What’s Not Allowed on SoundCloud

Unauthorized Sharing of Confidential Information

Never share another person’s (or entity’s) private information without their consent. This includes:

  • Photographs

  • Unlisted phone numbers

  • Home addresses

Unauthorized Distribution of Audio Recordings

Before sharing any recorded conversation, you must have:

  1. Permission from everyone involved to record the conversation

  2. Separate permission from everyone involved to share the recording

Uploading private conversations without consent from all participants is a violation of privacy.
