Can listeners / fans control who can message them?
Yes, they can control who can message them on SoundCloud via the Privacy tab within Settings. Disabling “Receive messages from anyone” ensures only people they follow will be able to send them messages. Make sure to encourage fans to follow you so you’re able to connect with them in meaningful ways!

Can listeners / fans / artists disable email notifications for new messages?
Yes, from within the Notifications tab within Settings.

Can listeners / fans / artists report abusive messages?
Yes, listeners / fans / artists can report abusive messages and block the user responsible. This will prevent the sender from being able to continue to contact and the sender’s account will be reviewed by our team.

Can anyone send messages?
Only those with a registered SoundCloud account.
