Monetizing directly on SoundCloud means taking advantage of Fan Powered Royalties. Fan Powered Royalties are a more equitable and transparent way for independent artists who monetize directly with SoundCloud to get paid. The more fans that listen to your music, the more you get paid. When you monetize on SoundCloud, you keep 100% of your royalties.

SoundCloud currently generates revenue either via advertising or listener subscriptions in territories including: United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. We may add or remove territories from time to time.

Although we don't generate revenue from plays in Nigeria, it's still important to cultivate your fanbase with those fans in your area and to use all of the tools within SoundCloud to make sure you're heard around the world, including monetizable territories.

Split your earnings

Send your earnings to your collaborators directly. No need to manage all the math yourself. As long as someone has a SoundCloud account, you can set up a percentage of your earnings to go directly to them.
