What are the SoundCloud plans for artists, and what's new?
For artists, SoundCloud now offers Basic, Artist and Next Pro plans
We're excited to introduce a new subscription called Artist, which is positioned between our existing Basic and Next Pro plans. The new Artist plan is currently only available in Australia and New Zealand.
Our Basic plan gives you limited access to SoundCloud’s artist features. Next Pro is the plan for established artists with big communities who need audience tools and insights. Read more about the new Artist plan below and find a detailed summary of our creator offerings here.
Introducing: Artist
If you’re a creator experimenting with your sound and discovering your fanbase, we’re launching our new Artist plan, currently available in select countries. The Artist plan provides the advanced tools and features to boost your music, expand your reach, and elevate your career.
This plan helps you get heard, find your audience, distribute your music, and start earning from your music. Artist subscribers have access to:
- 3 hour limit of upload time
- 3 track replacements per month (keeping your stats)
- 2 spotlighted tracks per month
- 2 distributed and monetized tracks per month
- 1 mastering credit per month
As an Artist subscriber, you’ll automatically receive monthly credits for these features which reset every 30 days. These credits are redeemed automatically when spotlighting your tracks, or when you distribute, monetize, master, or replace your tracks.
Artist subscriptions are currently available only in select countries. You can check the availability of our subscriptions here.
Upgrades and downgrades between Artist and Next Pro plans are not currently supported directly in your SoundCloud account. If you need help switching plans, please reach out to our support team who would love to help.
How do Artist credits work, and when do they reset?
Artist subscribers receive new credits every month based on their initial purchase date. These credits do not carry over and will reset at the start of each new month.
We don't have a specific place to check your remaining credits at the moment. However, if you run out while using your credits, we'll notify you. To find out when your credits reset, you can refer to your original sign-up date in your subscription settings here.
