Where can I get an invoice after I purchase my SoundCloud Artist Pro subscription?
After purchasing a SoundCloud Artist Pro subscription, an invoice is automatically sent to the primary email address associated with your SoundCloud account. If you don't see this email, be sure to check your spam folder in case it was mistakenly filtered there.
If you need to view your purchase information, you can do so on your subscriptions page. Additionally, you can use the "Print" option in your browser to generate a PDF of your receipt. Simply click on the receipt, select “Print,” and then choose the "Open PDF in preview" option.
Please note that SoundCloud does not send hard-copy invoices. If you need a PDF version of your invoice, you can usually save the invoice information as a PDF file directly from your web browser.
Can I change my payment details on my Artist Pro invoices?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to change the payment details or billing address on your Artist Pro invoices after the initial purchase. The payment details or billing address used during your first purchase will be linked to all recurring payments.
If you need your invoice to display different information, you’ll need to cancel your current subscription and then update your details during your next purchase. Here’s how you can do that:
- Check when your subscription is due to renew.
- Cancel your current plan by visiting your subscriptions page.
- Wait until the plan expires.
- Log in and visit the SoundCloud checkout page at SoundCloud Artist Checkout and select your desired plan (likely the one you were previously using).
- On the next page, enter your new payment details, especially in the "add billing address" box.
- Proceed to payment and complete the purchase.
Rest assured, none of your content will be deleted from your account during this process. Your tracks will be hidden by default while your subscription is inactive, but their stats and comments will be saved. Once you re-subscribe, everything will be restored just as it was before.
Troubleshooting Common Invoice Issues:
- Not receiving an invoice email: If you don't receive the invoice email, check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, try logging into your SoundCloud account and visiting the subscriptions page to access your invoice.
- Need to update payment details or billing address: Unfortunately, you cannot change these details for existing invoices. To update them, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and re-subscribe with the correct information.
- Problems generating a PDF of the invoice: If you’re having trouble creating a PDF version of your invoice, ensure that you are using the "Print" option in your browser and selecting “Open PDF in preview” or “Save as PDF” from the print settings.
