Why has SoundCloud stopped selling Artist Pro Gifts?

SoundCloud has decided to stop selling Artist Pro Gifts to simplify and modernize our technical systems. However, we are exploring new ways to give and receive gifts in the future.

I previously bought or received a gift. Can it still be redeemed?

Yes, gift codes do not expire, so you can still redeem your gift. To do so, use the link that was sent to you by email when the gift was purchased or received. The link will look something like this: “soundcloud.com/pro/redeem/GIFT_CODE.”

How can I buy a SoundCloud subscription for someone else?

Currently, SoundCloud does not offer a direct way to purchase a subscription for someone else. We are exploring new gifting options, but in the meantime, you can give someone the equivalent amount in cash or via PayPal, which they can use to purchase a subscription themselves.

I wanted to buy myself a Pro gift. Can I still buy a Pro subscription?

No, the Pro subscription is being retired, and it is no longer possible to purchase it.

Can I still buy a subscription with a paysafecard?

At this time, SoundCloud only accepts credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal for subscription purchases. We are exploring additional payment methods, and if there’s a method you prefer that we don’t yet accept, please let us know!
