SoundCloud For Artists: Subscription Updates
What exactly is changing about my subscription?
SoundCloud has rebranded its subscription plans, but rest assured, your access to all benefits and features remains unchanged. Here’s what’s new:
- SoundCloud Basic is now SoundCloud Next.
- The repost is now SoundCloud Next Plus.
- Pro Unlimited is now SoundCloud Artist Pro.
If you are part of a legacy program, such as Pro or Premier, your access will not change. Additionally, Next Plus has become a legacy subscription included with Artist Pro. New subscriptions for Next Plus are no longer available, but existing Next Plus subscriptions are unaffected.
Will the price of my subscription change?
No, the rebranding does not affect your subscription price. The pricing and benefits of your current membership plan remain the same. If you want to check the status of your account or explore which membership best suits your career, click here.
I don’t see Repost by SoundCloud anywhere anymore. What happened to it?
Repost by SoundCloud has been rebranded as SoundCloud for Artists, which is your new go-to destination for all your distribution needs and more. Distribution services are now part of the Next Plus and Artist Pro tiers. If you choose to monetize your content on SoundCloud, you may still see Repost listed as a rightsholder for a short period during the transition.
Are there any discounts available on SoundCloud Go+ subscriptions for SoundCloud for Artists members?
Yes, Artist Pro subscribers receive a 50% discount on SoundCloud Go+, but only if you purchase directly via SoundCloud. Bundle discounts are not available through Apple or Google Play stores. To qualify for the discount, ensure both Artist Pro and Go+ are purchased directly from SoundCloud. If you are currently subscribed to Go+ through Apple or Google Play and want the discount, you can opt out through those platforms and then re-subscribe directly with SoundCloud to receive the discount automatically.
Who can I contact for questions and technical support?
