What are the implications of signing out of SoundCloud, particularly for Go or Go+ users?

Signing out of your SoundCloud account has the following implications:

  • Loss of Offline Content: For Go or Go+ users, signing out will remove all your downloaded tracks. This means you will lose access to any content you had downloaded for offline listening.
  • Manual Re-download: If you sign back into the same account, you will need to manually re-select and download your albums or playlists for offline use. The system does not automatically restore your offline content, so you'll need to go through your library and re-download what you need.

How can users manage the re-downloading of tracks after signing back in?

To re-download your tracks after signing back into SoundCloud:

  • Go to Your Library: Navigate to your library and find the albums or playlists you want to download.
  • Select for Offline Download: Manually select each item for offline download by following the usual download process.
  • Rebuild Your Offline Collection: It may take some time, but re-downloading your essential tracks ensures you have access to your favorite content even when you're offline.
