Your subscription details are always available at the subscriptions page. Please note that it’s only possible to change or cancel your subscription via a computer, not through the mobile app.

Is my subscription renewing or expiring?

If you’re unsure whether your subscription is up for renewal or is expiring soon, you can confirm this by checking the status under the subscription name. It will show either "Expires" or "Renews," along with the specific billing cycle dates.

Monthly subscriptions auto-renew every 30 days. You can opt-out of auto-renewal at any time during the current billing cycle. Remember that changes to payment details can only be made before the next billing cycle, which will be indicated as "renews on [date]."

What options do I have after purchasing a subscription?

How do I cancel my current subscription?

For subscriptions purchased directly through SoundCloud, the cancellation must be done using a computer while signing into your SoundCloud account.

If you purchased your subscription through the Apple Store or Google Play, you will need to cancel it directly with Apple/Google. SoundCloud cannot assist with cancellations or refund requests for subscriptions purchased on iOS or Android devices.

Steps to cancel your subscription purchased on SoundCloud:

Log into Your Account on a Computer:

• Go to soundcloud.com/you/subscriptions.

Access Your Subscription Settings:

• On your subscriptions page, locate the plan you want to cancel.
• Click on the "Edit" icon next to your subscription status.

Cancel the Subscription:

• You will be redirected to a confirmation page to finalize the cancellation.

How can I confirm my subscription is canceled?

SoundCloud does not offer refunds for delivered subscriptions. However, you can opt out of further payments during the current billing cycle. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to all features for the remainder of the period you’ve already paid for. Once that period ends, your account will be downgraded to the free SoundCloud experience.

How can I change my payment details?

SoundCloud accepts credit cards or PayPal for all subscriptions, but the process to change payment details differs depending on the method and can only be done via computer.

For Credit Cards:

1. Go to your subscriptions page on a computer.
2. If your subscription is active, click on the 'Use a different card' option.
3. Enter your new card details, and the changes will be saved for your next billing cycle.

If your subscription has already been canceled:

1. Wait for your current subscription to expire.
2. Once expired, subscribe again using your preferred card.

Changing payment details with PayPal is treated as a new subscription:
