How do I upload tracks as a playlist on SoundCloud?

To upload tracks as a playlist, go to the Upload page by selecting the Upload button on your top navigation bar. You can either click ‘Choose file to upload’ and select all the tracks you want to upload or drag and drop multiple files onto the screen. Ensure that the box ‘Make a playlist when multiple files are selected’ is checked.

What should I know about transcoding when uploading tracks to SoundCloud?

When you upload your files, they will immediately start uploading, and SoundCloud will transcode them to be streamable. All tracks are transcoded to 128 kbps MP3 for streaming playback. If you want your fans to be able to download the original file versions, you can enable downloads for your tracks. All downloads will be of the original file, not the 128 kbps MP3 streaming version.

What information can I add or change while uploading a playlist?

What happens if I exceed my upload limit on SoundCloud?

If you are a Free or Pro user and you upload files that take you over your upload limit, some tracks will be hidden on your account to make room for the new uploads.
