Serato integrates with SoundCloud, allowing DJs to stream millions of tracks directly in Serato DJ Pro and Serato DJ Lite.

To use SoundCloud in Serato, you need:

• SoundCloud Go+ (for streaming access)
• Serato DJ Pro or Serato DJ Lite (supported versions listed below)

New users may be eligible for a 30-day free trial of SoundCloud Go+.

Supported Serato Versions

To access SoundCloud in Serato, you must use one of the following versions:

• Serato DJ Pro 2.1 or later
• Serato DJ Lite 1.1 or later

Connecting Your SoundCloud Account

To access SoundCloud content in Serato:

1. Open Serato DJ Pro or Lite
2. Locate the SoundCloud icon in the left library panel

3. Click the icon and select “Start Trial” or “Sign In”
4. Log in with your SoundCloud account

If the SoundCloud icon is not visible:

1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
2. Open Library + Display
3. Enable “Show Streaming Services.”
4. Select SoundCloud

Streaming & Search

• SoundCloud Go+ is required to stream tracks in Serato
• Use the search bar to find SoundCloud tracks
• Click the SoundCloud icon next to the search bar to enable SoundCloud search
• Local results appear first, followed by SoundCloud results (marked with the SoundCloud icon)

Playback Features

When using SoundCloud in Serato:

• Tracks are analyzed for BPM, key, and waveform when loaded onto a deck
• Analysis data is saved to your library for future use
• Cue points, loops, and flips are saved and restored when reloading tracks

Audio Quality

• Streams are delivered in up to 256 kbps AAC
• High-bitrate uploads are prioritized when available
• SoundCloud aims to provide the highest possible quality for Go+ users

Playlists & Library Behavior

• Your SoundCloud playlists appear under “Playlists and Albums” in the library
• Playlist creation and editing must be done in SoundCloud (not Serato). Learn how to create a playlist on SoundCloud here.
• SoundCloud Likes are not currently supported in Serato
• Adding SoundCloud tracks to Serato crates is not supported

Offline Playback

• Offline streaming of SoundCloud tracks is not supported in Serato
• An active internet connection is required to stream

Recording & Performance Limitations

• Recording DJ sets that include SoundCloud-streamed tracks is not supported

Additional Notes

• You may not be offered a Go+ trial in Serato if you were previously subscribed
• Ensure Serato DJ Pro/Lite is updated to the latest supported version for best compatibility
