How can I add a caption to my repost?

To add a caption to your Repost, click the repost button and enter text into the caption field. Then click ‘Repost’ to complete the Repost. You need to have a verified email address in order to add a caption to your Repost.

 

Where can I see the caption on my repost?

You can see your Repost and the caption in your Stream.

 

How can I edit the caption on my repost?

You can edit the caption on your Repost by finding your repost in the stream, clicking the Repost button a second time, and editing the text in the caption field.

 

Can I change the caption and repost the track again?

You can change the caption with your Repost, but doing so will not repost the track a second time. You can only repost tracks one time, and they will be shown in your followers’ Stream at that point in time, even if you change the caption.

 

Who can see the caption on my track repost?

Your followers will see the caption with the repost in their Stream so the caption will not be shown with the Reposts on your profile.

If you block a user, they will not be able to see your track reposts or captions.

 

Can I delete the caption on my track repost?

You can delete the caption on your track Repost by clicking the Repost button a second time and clearing the text in the caption field.

 

Will someone see my repost caption if I blocked them?

If you block a user, they will not be able to see your reposts or captions.

 

Can someone repost my track with a caption if I blocked them?

If you block a user, they will not be able to Repost your tracks at all, so they cannot add a caption.

 

Is there a character limit on captions?

Captions are limited to a length of 140 characters, including spaces.

 

Can I report a caption?

You can report a caption by clicking on the More menu and clicking ‘Report’. Then, you will be able to select if you want to report the track or the caption.
