Add sounds and songs from TikTok to SoundCloud

Love a sound or song on TikTok? Now you can instantly save it to SoundCloud so it can live alongside your entire music library.

How Does It Work?

  1. Log in to TikTok
Make sure you’re logged in to TikTok and have the latest version of the app installed. Note: make sure you have SoundCloud installed on your device.
  2. There are two ways to enable this feature:
    1. Go to “Settings and Privacy”, “Music”, then “Save to music app”. Select SoundCloud as your default music app.
    2. Note: If you’re already connected to another streaming service, you’ll follow the same steps, then confirm “Switch” to SoundCloud as your default app.
  3. Authenticate to SoundCloud
You’ll be prompted to login to your SoundCloud account through the TikTok app and asked to allow TikTok access to your SoundCloud account. Click “Connect and Continue”. [If you have Two-Factor Authentication turned on, you’ll need to enter a 2FA code for SC, from your paired authentication app.]
  4. Add tracks to your SoundCloud library
Once your SoundCloud account is connected, you can immediately add the track to your library on SoundCloud and start listening anytime by going to your Liked Tracks. Just tap "Add to SoundCloud" on the sound details page.

Feature Availability

TikTok’s Add to Music App feature is available in 184 countries. SoundCloud’s full music catalog is reserved for subscribers in the territories where Go and Go+ are available. Content availability on SoundCloud through Add to Music App will depend on your territory and listening subscription status.

For U.S. users, make sure you’re on at least version 38.0.0 to take advantage of this feature.
