SoundCloud Insights gives you the data you need to understand who is listening, how they’re interacting, and where your music is gaining momentum. Whether you’re planning a tour or your next release, these metrics help you turn listeners into fans.

How to Access Your Insights
You can check your stats from your desk or on the go:
On Desktop: Click your profile avatar in the top right and select Your Insights.
On Mobile: Head to your Artist Home, Library, or SoundCloud Channel and tap Your Insights.
The default view shows your activity from the past 30 days, but you can use the dropdown menu to toggle between Day, Week, Month, or Year.
Understanding Your Metrics
Every artist on SoundCloud has access to these core engagement stats:
Plays: The total number of times your track has been played (note: your own plays are excluded).
Likes: How many listeners have saved your track to their Library.
Comments: Real-time feedback and fan engagement directly on your waveform.
Reposts: Shares that push your track to other listeners' Streams.
Downloads: If enabled, the number of times fans have saved your file to their device.
Artist Pro: Advanced Insights
If you're looking to scale, Artist Pro unlocks the deep-dive data you need to turn plays into a career:
Top Fans: Identify your most dedicated listeners so you can reward them or engage with them directly.
Locations: See exactly which countries and cities are playing your music—essential for planning tour stops or ad spend.
Sources: Find out if your plays are coming from the SoundCloud app, a specific playlist, or an external website embed.
Reading the Activity Graph
The Activity Graph is your visual map of growth.
The Breakdown: The graph highlights your Top 5 tracks individually. All other tracks are grouped under "Others" to keep your view clean.
Interactive Data: On Desktop, hover over any point on the graph to see the daily total. On Mobile, simply tap the graph to see that day’s specific numbers.
