Insights aren't updating


If it seems like your Insights are stuck on your track's individual page or your profile, this is due to caching. You can get around this by refreshing your cache. 

To check your Insights in the most accurate spots on the site, it's best to look at your track's stats through your Insights Overview page

Please note: Our Insights do not count self-plays. Playing your own track while signed in won't be recorded. To verify if your Insights update, try playing the track while signed out, then sign back in to check the play count.

 

Unable to see advanced Insights

In order to see advanced stats and insights, you need an Artist Pro plan.
If you have an Artist Pro subscription, but your Insights page indicates that you are an Artist or Basic (free) user, please go to your Subscriptions page and make sure that your Artist Pro subscription is still active. 

If your account is on an Artist Pro subscription, then being unable to see the additional insights is due to caching on our site. Please log out and back into your account, and you will see that the cache has been refreshed and your additional insights are available.
 
 

What to do if you suspect suspicious or fake activity on your tracks?

If you see a sudden spike in activity on your track or account, it might be due to fake accounts. These accounts mimic real users by following, playing, liking, and reposting sounds. Our Trust and Safety team works to detect and remove them, but some actions may occur before removal. When removed, their interactions are also deleted. Note: We cannot adjust or revert play counts.

We recommend blocking and reporting any suspected fake accounts using our block feature. This must be done on a computer, not a mobile device.

 

Can I view Insights for a deleted track or account?

If you delete your track, the insights will remain on your Insights Overview page. However, the track’s title information will be seen as ‘Deleted or disabled track’.

If you delete your account, your stats will be removed from SoundCloud.

 

Can I export my SoundCloud Insights?

We do not currently have an exporting feature available for our Insights.
