Anatomy of SoundCloud
Your Feed keeps you up to date with the people you follow: their new tracks, playlists, and reposts appear here. Your own posts also show on your Feed and profile.
Your Profile is your public page (soundcloud.com/[your URL]). This serves as a personal hub where all the tracks you upload and repost are displayed for others to discover and listen to.
Home is your personalized hub featuring curated playlists like Weekly Wave, with new songs each week, and Daily Drops, offering daily updates. Discover trending hits and stay updated with the latest music.
Your Library shows your Likes, Playlists, and the Tracks and Playlists of the people you follow.
A Repost is a quick way to share your favorite tracks or playlists with friends and followers. Click the repost button below a track or playlist to add it to your profile and share it to your followers’ Feeds.
Spotlight is an Artist and Artist Pro premium feature that lets you pin up to five tracks or playlists at the top of your profile. These appear under the "All" tab, making it easier for visitors to find and engage with your highlighted music. It helps artists showcase their style or recent projects more effectively.
Embedded player lets you easily share tracks, playlists, or your full profile on your website or blog. It allows visitors to listen to your music without leaving your site.
Your Follower/Following helps you fill your Feed with audio you love by connecting with profiles you’re interested in. Your uploads and reposts will appear on the Feeds of your Followers.
Likes let you save and quickly access your favorite tracks. Click the heart icon below a track's waveform to save it. The heart turns orange, showing the track is added to your collection. This helps you build a personalized music library for easy listening anytime.
Playlists are curated collections of music tracks, including your uploads or others’ songs. Like albums on Playlists let you organize music for workouts, relaxation, or sharing favorites, offering a seamless way to showcase your music.
