Refer a Friend Program Details
The SoundCloud Refer a Friend Program allows paid Artist Pro creators to earn cash by referring friends. When someone signs up for Artist Pro using your unique referral link, they get a free month, and you earn a $15 cash reward after their first paid month.
How It Works:
- Share Your Code: Share your unique referral link with friends.
- Your Friend Signs Up: They get a free month of Artist Pro when they subscribe.
- Earn Rewards: After your friend’s first paid month, you’ll earn $15 which you may redeem as a digital gift card or PayPal payout.
Rewards and Limits:
- Reward Amount: $15 per successful referral.
- Annual Cap: Maximum of $150 per year (up to 10 referrals).
- Payout Timing: Rewards are paid 30 days after your friend’s first payment.
Program Qualifications
Referring user must:
- Be an existing Artist Pro subscriber in the United States.
- Be age nineteen (19) or older
- Remain a paid subscriber to qualify for payouts.
Friend:
- Must be a new Artist Pro customer in the United States.
- Be age nineteen (19) or older
- Must pay for a subscription after their trial period.
- Must pass quality/fraud checks in the program.

A: Ask your friend when they signed up. If the 31-day pending period hasn’t passed yet, your reward will be sent after that period. If it has passed and you still haven’t received the reward, please contact referral program support (details below).
Q: How do I get paid?
A: You’ll receive an email with payout instructions after earning a reward. You can choose to redeem rewards as a gift card or via PayPal.
Q: Can I refer friends outside the US?
A: No, both the referrer and friend must be located in the US.

A: No, only new subscribers are eligible.

A: Only Artist pro plans are eligible. Go, Go+ and Artist plans are not eligible for the referral program.

- Your friend may have canceled during their free trial and didn’t move to a paid subscription.
- Referrals aren’t eligible if your friend previously had an Artist Pro subscription.
- Your friend needs to sign up using your unique referral link for the referral to track.
- Your Artist Pro subscription must stay active through the payout period.
- Both you and your friend must be located in the United States.
- Payouts can take up to 31 days after your friend finishes their free trial and starts paying.
- Your friend may have subscribed to the Artist plan instead of Artist Pro.
- You may have reached the reward maximum ($150 or 10 referrals per calendar year)
- Referrals may be disqualified if there’s evidence of fraudulent activity.

The SoundCloud Referral Program allows select Sound Cloud Artists and other influencers to earn a higher tier of rewards by referring their followers and fan base. When someone signs up using your unique referral link, they get a free month of Artist Pro, and you earn up to $30 cash reward after their first paid month.
How It Works:
- Share your unique referral link with friends, fans, and followers.
- They sign up using your personal link and receive a free month of Artist Pro.
- You earn up to $30 after a qualified referral becomes a paying Artist Pro subscriber.
- Redeem your rewards as a digital gift card or PayPal payout.
Rewards and Limits:
- Reward Amount: $30 for referrals that become yearly subscribers, $15 for monthly.
- Annual Cap: Maximum of 1000 referral rewards per calendar year!
- Payout Timing: Rewards are paid 30 days after your friend’s first payment.
- Tax Threshold: Affiliate partners earning rewards equal to or greater to tax threshold for any given calendar year will receive a 1099 tax form.
