Details of the Program

The SoundCloud Referral Program allows paid Artist Pro creators to earn cash rewards by referring friends. When your friend signs up using your unique referral link, they get a free month of Artist Pro, and you receive $15 after their first paid month.

How It Works:

1. Share Your Code: Share your unique referral link with friends.
2. Your Friend Signs Up: They get a free month of Artist Pro when they subscribe.
3. Earn Rewards: After your friend’s first paid month, you’ll receive $15 as a digital gift card or PayPal payout.

Rewards and Limits:

• Reward Amount: $15 per successful referral.
• Annual Cap: Maximum of $150 per year (up to 10 referrals).
• Payout Timing: Rewards are paid 30 days after your friend’s first payment.

Program Qualifications

Referring user:

• Must be an existing Artist Pro subscriber in the United States.
• Can only earn up to $150 in rewards per year.
• Must remain a paid subscriber to qualify for payouts.

Friend:

• Must be a new Artist Pro customer in the United States.
• Must pay for a subscription after their trial period.
• Must pass quality/fraud checks in the program.

Common Reasons Why You May Not Get Rewarded

• Your Friend Didn’t Pay for a Subscription: Your friend may have cancelled their subscription during their free trial period.
• Previously Subscribed Friend: Referrals for friends who had Artist Pro before aren’t eligible.
• Incorrect Referral Link Use: Your friend must sign up using your unique referral link.
• Lapsed Subscription: If your Artist Pro subscription ends before the payout, you won’t qualify.
• Geographic Restrictions: You or your friend are not located in the United States.
• Waiting period: You may be in a pending payment period, and it may take up to 31 days to receive your payout once your friend finishes their free trial and pays for a subscription.
• Plan type: Your friend may have purchased the Artist plan instead of the Artist Pro plan.
• Fraudulent Activity: Any signs of fraud will result in disqualification.

Q: How do I refer my friend?
A: After logging into your Artist Pro account, you can visit our program page here: https://invite.soundcloud.com/

Q: I referred my friend. When will I get my reward?
A: Ask your friend when they signed up. If the 31-day pending period hasn’t passed yet, your reward will be sent after that period. If it has passed and you still haven’t received the reward, please contact referral program support (details below).

Q: Why didn’t I get my reward?
A: Ensure all program requirements were met (e.g., your friend wasn’t already a subscriber, they signed up with your referral link, and both of you are US residents). If all criteria were met and the pending period has passed, contact referral program support (details below).

A: No, both the referrer and friend must be located in the US.

Q: Can I refer someone who previously had an Artist Pro (or Next Pro) subscription?
A: No, only new subscribers are eligible.

Q: What if my friend cancels before their first paid month?
A: If your friend doesn’t complete their first paid month, you won’t receive the referral payout.

Q: Do I need to keep my subscription active to get paid?
A: Yes, you must remain a paid Artist Pro subscriber to qualify for payouts.

Q: Will I be paid immediately once my friend starts their free trial?
A: No, your friend must finish their free trial and convert to a paying subscription in order to be eligible. Once your friend begins their paid subscription, it may take up to 31 days to receive your payout.

Q: Are all subscriptions eligible for payouts?

Only Artist pro plans are eligible. Go, Go+ and Artist plans are not eligible for the referral program.
