Rekordbox seamlessly connects with SoundCloud, giving DJs access to millions of tracks for streaming or offline playback. You can use:

• SoundCloud Go+ – Stream tracks online
• SoundCloud DJ – Download tracks for offline use

Connecting Your SoundCloud Account

1. Open Rekordbox and switch to Performance Mode

2. In the browser panel, select the SoundCloud node

3. Click “Log in” or “Start Trial.”
4. Sign in with your SoundCloud account

Once connected, you can browse and stream SoundCloud’s catalog directly in Rekordbox.

Note: Rekordbox 5.6.1 or later is required. SoundCloud is not supported in Export Mode.

Streaming & Offline Playback

Streaming with Go+

• Access the full SoundCloud library directly in Rekordbox.
• Cue points, loops, and flips are saved automatically for future sessions.

Offline with SoundCloud DJ

• Select tracks or playlists, open the context menu, and choose “Store Offline.”
• Requires Rekordbox version 6.6.0 or later. You can update your version here.
• Offline mode is only available with a SoundCloud DJ subscription.

Tip: Use a stable internet connection when downloading tracks for offline use.

Features & Playback

• Tracks are analyzed for BPM, key, and waveform once loaded.
• Search SoundCloud tracks directly in the Rekordbox library (identified by the SoundCloud icon).
• Your most recent 1000 SoundCloud Likes are available in-app.
• Playlists appear in the “Playlists and Albums” section.
• Cue points, loops, and flips persist across sessions.

Audio Quality & Limitations

• Streaming quality is up to 256 kbps AAC or higher if the original upload allows. Lossless or high-bitrate tracks stream in high quality.
• Recording DJ sets with streamed SoundCloud tracks is not supported.
• Playlists cannot be created or edited in Rekordbox; they must be managed in SoundCloud.

Compatibility

• SoundCloud integration is supported on compatible CDJ setups with proper configuration.
• Ensure Rekordbox is updated to the latest version to access all features, including offline mode.
