What happens if I downgrade from Artist Pro to a Basic plan?
When you downgrade from Artist Pro to Artist or Basic, your oldest uploads that exceed the subscription limit (180 minutes for Artist and 120 minutes for Basic) will be hidden from listeners.
This includes any distributed tracks through your RSS feed or via SoundCloud for Artists.
Don't worry, though; nothing is deleted from your account. You will still be able to view these hidden tracks on your Tracks page.
All your hidden tracks, along with their stats and comments, will be saved so that if you choose to go back to Pro, everything will be restored just as it was before.
What happens to my monetized tracks and distributed releases if I cancel my Artist or Artist Pro subscription?
If you distributed or monetized any of your content via SoundCloud for Artists, that content will be taken down from third-party distribution partners and demonetized 30 days after your subscription ends.
Artists have 30 days to renew if they’d like to keep their content distributed or monetized on SoundCloud. Once you resubscribe, your releases will be delivered automatically, and tracks will be remonetized.
If that is not the case, please reach out to support via our AI agent. They can escalate you to a support specialist.
