What is a one-time email code?

A one-time code is a temporary 6-digit number we send to the email address on your SoundCloud account. Instead of entering your password, you enter the code to confirm it's really you and sign in.

This option is offered to some users and currently appears when signing in on the web only. If you don't see it, you can always sign in with your password as usual. 

How to sign in with an email code

1. Go to the SoundCloud sign-in page.
2. Select Sign in without password.
3. Check your email inbox for a 6-digit code from SoundCloud.
4. Enter the code on the sign-in screen.
5. You're in.

Your code is single-use and expires after a short time, so it's best to enter it as soon as it arrives. If it expires, just request a new one.

If you don't receive your code

If the code doesn't show up right away, try the following:

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Wait a moment, then click Send again to request a new one.
• Make sure your inbox isn't full and can receive new mail.

I received a code I didn't request, what should I do?
