Why can’t I make or reply to a comment?
If you’re having trouble engaging with a track, it usually comes down to one of two things: Account Verification or Spam Limits.
1. Confirm your Email
You cannot comment until your email address is verified.
How to check: Go to your Account Settings. If you see "(Not confirmed)" next to your email, click Resend confirmation email and follow the link in your inbox.
2. Temporary Activity Blocks
Our spam detection may temporarily restrict your ability to comment if you post many similar messages quickly, as this violates our Community Guidelines.
The Rule: Avoid "copy-pasting" the same comment to multiple artists. Make your feedback unique to the track you're listening to.
The Limit: We cannot manually lift these blocks—they are set to expire automatically. We recommend waiting 24 hours before trying again.
3. Quiet Mode
If you are trying to comment on an artist’s track and the text box is missing, the creator may have enabled Quiet Mode. This is an Artist Pro feature that allows creators to turn off commenting or hide existing comments to maintain a specific profile aesthetic.
