Submit your RSS feed to Apple Podcasts
Before you actually submit your feed to Apple Podcasts, please review how to set up your RSS feed to ensure that you have followed all the requirements needed.
Once you have made sure that your RSS feed is customized to your liking, make sure that it is a valid feed by copying and pasting the RSS feed from your Content Settings page here.
If your feed is valid, follow the steps below to submit your RSS feed to Apple Podcasts:
- Go to your Content Settings page
- Copy your RSS feed URL

For Apple Podcasts, submit your RSS podcast feed URL to the Apple Podcasts Connect.
Note: If you don’t already have Apple Podcasts installed, you will need to download it. In Apple Podcasts Connect, click the Add (+) button and select "New Show". Then, choose “Add a show with an RSS feed" and enter the RSS feed URL.
- Wait for approval from Apple Podcasts. Apple generally accepts feeds within 24 hours to 2 weeks. If you have not heard back from them within this time range, please reach out to them directly.
Resubmitting your RSS feed to Apple Podcasts
If you have submitted your RSS feed to Apple Podcasts and it was rejected, you have the chance to resubmit it. Before resubmitting, make sure of the following:
- Your image artwork is at least 1400x1400 pixels. Learn how to check your image's dimensions here.
- If your podcast’s content is explicit, you have checked the Explicit Content box on your Content Settings page.
- You have at least one track in your RSS feed.
- Make sure that it is a valid feed by copying and pasting the RSS feed from your Content Settings page here.
Please note: If you submit to Apple Podcasts again and get the error ‘Feed has already been submitted’, then you will have to speak to Apple directly. They need to clear their directory’s cache in order to recognize your feed as not submitted. As a hosting provider, SoundCloud has no influence over Apple in this matter.
