Set Up Your Podcast's RSS Feed

How do I get my podcast started on SoundCloud?

To get your podcast off the ground, you'll need to add tracks to your RSS feed, personalize your RSS feed settings, and ensure your SoundCloud profile is fully compatible with podcasting.

  1. Upload tracks to your SoundCloud profile and add them to your RSS feed.
  2. Add descriptions and artwork to each track for better context and visual appeal, ensuring your podcast’s artwork meets the required specifications and is uploaded in the RSS feed settings.

How can I customize my RSS feed settings?

  1. Customize your Feed Title and Author Name for your Podcast.
  2. Choose the best category for your podcast to ensure proper classification on platforms.
  3. If you track your podcast with a stats service, add its prefix in the RSS feed settings.
  4. Choose the language and content rating of your podcast to ensure it is correctly categorized.
  5. Display an email address in your RSS feed to make it visible to subscribers and podcast platforms.
  6. Add a link to your podcast's website to include it in your RSS feed for all listeners.

Can I set up multiple RSS feeds within the same SoundCloud account?

At this time, there can only be one RSS feed per SoundCloud account. If you would like multiple RSS feeds, you will need to create different profiles on SoundCloud for each RSS feed you would like.
