Move Your Music to SoundCloud

Music collections are personal: your library took years to compile, and playlists can be time capsules of our past selves. Moving to a new music platform can feel like moving into a new home. To make it easy we’re introducing a new feature, available to SoundCloud Free, Go, and Go+ users, that will allow you to move your music to SoundCloud.

How do I move my music from other platforms?

Move Your Music allows you to import your playlists and likes from other music platforms, including:

  • Spotify
  • Apple Music
  • Deezer
  • Tidal
  • Amazon Music
  • Resso

This new functionality simplifies the process of replicating your music collection on SoundCloud, so you can get up and running without having to manually rebuild your playlists.

What Can I Move?

Move Your Music allows you to move

  • All of your liked songs
  • All of your playlists (even ones you follow / liked but did not create yourself, like editorial playlists on other platforms)

Why Are We Offering This?

Because no one who has been collecting music for years should have to re-build their music library from scratch. For many users, the effort to transfer their likes and playlists from other platforms can be time-consuming and complicated.

By offering the Move Your Music feature, we aim to make it easier for you to migrate your existing music collections and start enjoying SoundCloud right away.

How Does It Work?

  1. Ensure you’re logged in to your SoundCloud account on the latest version of the SoundCloud app.
  2. Go to the Library page and click “import now.
  3. Select the platform you’d like to transfer from (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
  4. Follow the prompts to connect your other account to SoundCloud and choose which playlists or likes you want to transfer.
  5. Once your library is imported, it will appear in your SoundCloud library, and you can start listening immediately.

Which Platforms Are Supported?

Currently, the Move Your Music feature supports imports from:

  • Spotify
  • Apple Music
  • Deezer
  • Tidal
  • Amazon Music
  • Resso

Availability

Currently available to iOS users in the US, but we will be expanding this feature soon so stay tuned for that.
