Add a caption to a repost

To add a caption, click the repost button, enter your text in the caption field, and select Repost to publish.

Please note:

• You must have a verified email address to add captions.

• Captions are limited to 140 characters, including spaces.

Captions will appear in your followers’ Stream alongside your repost, not on your profile page.

Edit or remove a caption

To update or remove a caption, locate your repost in your Stream and click the repost button again. From there, you can edit the text or clear it entirely.

Please note: Tracks can only be reposted once. Editing a caption will not repost the track again or resurface it in your followers’ Streams.

Visibility and blocking

Your followers can see captions in their Stream.

If you block a user:

• They cannot see your reposts or captions
• They cannot repost your tracks

To report a caption, open the More menu on the repost and select Report. You can choose whether to report the track or the caption.
