Managing your SoundCloud subscription is straightforward, whether you’re an artist or a fan. From adjusting your plan to canceling or renewing, SoundCloud provides complete control over your experience. How do I cancel my subscription?

At this time, you cannot cancel via the app; please cancel using a desktop or mobile browser.

1. Sign in to your account on a computer and go to your Subscriptions page.

2. Click the icon next to your current subscription status (Edit) and follow the prompts to cancel your plan.

3. You will then be redirected to the page where you will be able to cancel.

 

How can I confirm my subscription is canceled?

To confirm that your subscription has been successfully canceled:

  1. Log in to your account on a computer and visit your Subscriptions page.
  2. Check the status of your plan. If it says "EXPIRES," this means you have successfully canceled your subscription.

You can also check your cancellation status via mobile.

 

Can I request a refund for my subscription?

SoundCloud does not offer refunds for delivered subscriptions. However, you can opt out of further payments during the current billing cycle. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to all features for the remainder of the period you’ve already paid for. Once that period ends, your account will be downgraded to the free SoundCloud experience.

You can manage your plan, whether upgrading, downgrading, or canceling, from your Subscriptions page. If you choose to upgrade or downgrade, the changes will take effect immediately. For more details on SoundCloud’s refund policy, please refer to our Terms of Use.

 

I purchased my subscription through the Apple App Store. How do I cancel?

If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you must cancel your subscription directly with Apple. SoundCloud can't help with cancellations or refunds for subscriptions purchased on iOS devices.

To cancel, follow Apple Support's instructions. Deleting your SoundCloud account does not cancel your subscription with Apple.

Subscriptions via the Apple App Store cost more due to Apple's fees. To get a lower price, purchase directly from our Artist Subscriptions page.

 

What happens when I cancel my Artist subscription?

If you downgrade to a Basic plan, your oldest uploads over the free limit will be hidden from listeners, but nothing will be deleted. You can still view these hidden tracks on your Tracks page. Your hidden tracks, stats, and comments will be saved and fully restored if you upgrade to Pro again.

If you distributed or monetized content through SoundCloud for Artists, it will be removed from third-party platforms and de-monetized 30 days after your subscription ends.

You have 30 days to renew your subscription to keep your content distributed and monetized. After that, you'll need to contact support to restore distribution and monetization.
