What to check when your subscription payment fails:
There are several reasons why your payment might have failed. First, confirm with your bank or PayPal that they are not blocking the payment to SoundCloud. Double-check the following:
Credit Card Issues:
- Ensure your credit card details are correct (e.g., have you received a new card?).
- Confirm that your bank account has sufficient funds.
- Verify that your card has not expired or that the expiration date is correct.
PayPal Issues:
- Check if your billing agreement with PayPal was canceled.
- Confirm that PayPal approved the payment.
- If your payment information was entered over a year ago, your details may need refreshing.
For subscriptions via Apple or Google Play, you will need to contact their respective customer service for billing or subscription questions, as SoundCloud does not have access to this information.
I purchased a subscription, but it’s not appearing in my account. What should I do?
If you have confirmed that you purchased your Artist Pro subscription and it doesn't show immediately on your account, please allow a few minutes for it to show up - sometimes it can take a bit of time to update the subscription status.
After a short while, please verify the status on your Subscription page.
Apple subscribers can check their subscription status via their Apple subscription settings.
Apple Store:
- Go to phone Settings.
- Click iTunes & App Store.
- Click Apple ID at the top of the screen.
- Click View Apple ID.
- Click Subscriptions.
- Click on the SoundCloud app.
When to contact SoundCloud Support
