Expired Uploads
When you upload audio to SoundCloud, you’ll have a limited window to use that upload to create or update a track. To make sure your upload works correctly, please complete your track creation or update within 3 days of uploading your audio file.
How It Works
After you upload an audio file, you have up to 3 days to use it for creating a new track or updating an existing one. Once that time passes, the upload will expire and you’ll need to upload the file again before you can continue.
If Your Upload Expires
If more than 3 days have passed since you uploaded your audio and you haven’t created or updated a track yet, you’ll need to re-upload the file. Expired uploads can’t be reactivated.
Tips for a Smooth Experience
- Finish creating or updating your track soon after uploading.
- Plan your workflow so you can complete uploads and track setup within a few days.
- If an upload expires, simply re-upload your audio to continue.
