After you buy a paid download on SoundCloud, the track is added to your Collection. You can download it right away or come back later and download it again.
How to download a purchased track
- Open your Collection.
- Find the track you bought.
- Select the download option.
- Choose a format if more than one is available.
- Save the file to your device.
You may also be able to start the first download from the purchase confirmation screen or purchase confirmation email.
Can I download the same track again later?
Yes. Purchased tracks stay in your Collection so you can download them again later, as long as the track is still available.
This can be useful if:
- You switched devices
- You deleted the file by mistake
- You want a different format than the one you downloaded first
Where to find your purchases
A purchased track should appear in your Collection after checkout is complete.
If you can’t find it:
- Make sure you’re signed in to the same account used for the purchase
- Refresh Collection and look again
- Check your confirmation email and follow the download link if available
Why a download might not be available
You may not be able to download or re-download a track when:
- The purchase hasn’t finished processing yet
- You’re signed in to the wrong account
- The track or format is temporarily unavailable
- The track is no longer available on SoundCloud
If a format is still being prepared, try again in a few minutes.

If the file won’t download or the link doesn’t work:
- Retry from your Collection
- Try a different available format
- Switch to a more stable internet connection
- Open a fresh link from your confirmation email if one is available
