You can directly support your favorite artists on SoundCloud by buying eligible tracks. All purchases are available in your Collection for download to your device, as well as in-app offline listening.
How to buy a track
- Find a track with a Buy option.
- Start the purchase by tapping the Buy button.
- Proceed through the required checkout steps.
- Review the total price, including any applicable tax.
- Complete payment.
- Visit your Collection to view and download your track.
What information you may need to enter
During checkout, you may be asked for:
- Billing or address details
- Country or ZIP/postal code information
- Payment information needed to complete the order
Exactly what you see can depend on your location.
What happens after purchase
After payment is completed:
- The purchase is added to your Collection
- You can download the track to your device
- You may be able to choose from more than one file format, depending on what the artist has uploaded
- You can return later and download it again if needed, as long as the track is available on SoundCloud
Buying a download gives you a file you can keep. It doesn’t replace streaming on SoundCloud.
Why the total price may change at checkout
The amount you pay can include processing fees and taxes based on your location.
This means the final total may be higher than the listed track price. You’ll see the full amount before you finish the purchase.
Where paid downloads are available
You may only see the paid download option where the feature is supported.
Availability can depend on:
- The track
- Your account
- Your location
- The surface or device you’re using
If you don’t see a paid download option, the track may not currently be available to purchase from your location or device.
What should I do after I buy?
After purchase, you can download the track right away or come back later to download from your Collection.

If the purchase doesn’t work
If checkout doesn’t complete:
- Confirm you entered your details correctly
- Try again from the same track page
- Refresh and retry if the session timed out
- Make sure you’re signed in to the account you want to use
