Reporting extremism and illegal content

At SoundCloud, it is not acceptable to use the platform to share illegal material or content related to extremist ideologies, including any content promoting, supporting, or inciting terrorism. 

We strictly prohibit the dissemination of terrorist content and are committed to its prompt removal from the platform. While we take into consideration UN, US, and EU lists of terrorist designated organizations, we also follow and enforce the details Pursuant to Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2021/784 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

We encourage you to report any content or behavior that may violate our policies against terrorism or other illegal and extremist content. Any user-reported content that is subsequently categorized as illegal following review is considered to be an urgent request and is removed as a priority. We ensure to carry out our review process as soon as possible and will remove all content and accounts that share this type of material when it is reported to our team. 
 

Reporting extremism and illegal content

If you would like to report extremist or illegal content, please provide us with the following details:

  • The URL of the account you want to report
  • Links to the content to be reviewed, e.g., track URLs
  • A brief explanation of how the content violates our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, or applicable law

It is also possible to report content under The Network Enforcement Act, where applicable.
