Update Your Profile Image

Image Requirements & Specifications:

• File Size and Type: The image must be 2MB or less in size, and it’s recommended to use .jpg or .png formats. For optimal display, the image should be square and at least 800 x 800 pixels.
• Platform Restrictions: Currently, image uploads can only be done through the main SoundCloud website, not through the mobile site or app.
• Profile avatars are circular to differentiate from track and playlist artwork. 

On Web

1. Update your profile image on your Profile Page or through the profile edit page
2. Click Update Image
3. Select a file from your computer
4. Click Save Changes.

On iOS or Android

1. Tap the icon in the lower right corner of the home page to access your Library.
2. Tap your avatar
3. Click the pen icon
4. Tap the camera icon on your avatar
5. Select the image you would like to upload and save   

Delete Your Profile Picture

If you want to delete your profile picture, you just need to click Update Image and select Delete Image.

Update Your Profile Header

Image Requirements & Specifications:

• File Size and Type:  For best results, upload JPG or PNG images of at least 2480 x 520 pixels with a 2MB size limit. Please avoid using text within your Header Image as it will be cropped on smaller screens.
• Once you have selected an image to upload, you have the option to drag the image up and down or to zoom in and out on the image. If you cannot Zoom, then this is because your image is less than 1240 x 260 pixels.

On Web

1. Update your profile image on your Profile Page or through the profile edit page
2. Click Update Image
3. Select a file from your computer
4. Click Save Changes.

On iOS or Android

1. Tap the icon in the lower right corner of the home page to access your Library.
2. Tap your avatar
3. Click the pen icon
4. Tap the existing header image
5. Select the image you would like to upload and save   

Delete Your Profile Header

If you want to delete your profile header, then you just need to click Update Image and select Delete Image. If you delete your image, the Profile Header Image will return to a gradient based on the colors in your profile image.
