How to Sign Out of Your SoundCloud Account

If you would like to sign out of your account, please follow these steps:

On the Web:

  1. Click the three dots in the top navigation header.
  2. Select ‘Sign out’. You will then be directed to a confirmation screen indicating that you have successfully signed out.

On Android:

  1. Go to your Profile page by clicking the library icon at the bottom right.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Sign Out'.
  3. A pop-up will appear stating, "Signing out removes all downloaded tracks," which applies to Go or Go+ users. This means that all your previously downloaded offline content will be removed.

On iOS:

  1. Go to your Profile page by clicking the library icon at the bottom right, then click on your avatar in the top right corner next to the casting button.
  2. Tap the Account button, where you'll find the option to Sign out.
  3. Confirm the sign-out action, keeping in mind that all your downloaded tracks will be removed.

What to know when logging out of your account?

Signing out of your SoundCloud account has the following implications:

  • Loss of Offline Content: For Go or Go+ users, signing out will remove all your downloaded tracks. This means you will lose access to any content you had downloaded for offline listening.
  • Manual Re-Download: If you sign back into the same account, you will need to manually re-select and download your albums or playlists for offline use. The system does not automatically restore your offline content, so you'll need to go through your library and re-download what you need.
