It can launch straight from your desktop, dock, or taskbar and sits as a stand-alone app on the desktop, so it doesn’t compete for space with other tabs in the browser.
For now, it's only available on Chrome, Brave, and Edge browsers.
How can I install the SoundCloud Desktop Player?
- Go to Soundcloud.com on your Chrome, Brave, or Edge browser
- Log in to your account
- Look for the install icon in your ‘address bar’ to the right
- Click install
- Open the Desktop Player from your apps folder
- Right-click the SoundCloud icon on your desktop and click to add to your dock or taskbar
