Will Nina Protocol stay open?

Sadly, no. We are huge admirers of Nina Protocol and the community that was built there. The Nina Protocol website will be closing as planned. However, we working together so that artists and users of Nina Protocol can migrate their content and networks to SoundCloud. We hope to continue building on our shared vision of a connected music network on SoundCloud.

Who is eligible for the Artist Pro offer?

The offer is available to Nina Protocol users who were active before the wind-down. The offer entitles you to SoundCloud Artist Pro through the end of the year.

Where do I find my Artist Pro promo code?

If you were an active Nina Protocol user before the wind-down, you should have received an email from Nina containing a unique Artist Pro promo code. Additionally, if you click on any of the ‘Claim Artist Pro’ links on the Nina website while logged in, you should get redirected to Artist Pro check-out with the code already applied.

You will need to enter your payment details to claim your free months. You will not be charged at this time and are able to cancel before the end of your trial offer period.

How do I redeem my Artist Pro offer?

Your promo code can be redeemed for an Artist Pro plan via the SoundCloud checkout. You can also access this page via the link in your email from Nina Protocol, or via the link in the migration tool on ninaprotocol.com.  

Do I need an existing SoundCloud account?

No. You can log into an existing account or create one during the SoundCloud migration process, or in the checkout flow. We recommend that you create, or sign in, to your SoundCloud account before using the migration tool or starting the checkout process.

Does the offer apply to existing subscribers?

The offer is valid for any user who does not have a current subscription. If you are already a SoundCloud Subscriber, and have an offer code, please reach out to our support team so we can look into this for you.

What happens if an upload fails?

The migration status identifies failed items. You can retry the migration for those releases or contact support if the problem persists.

Why don’t I see all of my Nina Protocol releases?

Only published releases associated with the logged-in Nina profile are shown. Refresh the page after logging in, or reach out to our support team if your catalog is incomplete. Please make sure you share your Nina Protocol account details so we can take a look.

I made a mistake during the release migration process. How can I remedy it?

As the migration progresses, releases become available on your SoundCloud profile. Select a specific track or playlist, and modify it directly by clicking on ‘Edit’.

Will all of my content be automatically transferred to SoundCloud?

No, your content will only be migrated over to SoundCloud with your consent. You can opt-in and seamlessly transfer your content over to SoundCloud on this page.

What happens to the editorial content from Nina Protocol?

We are actively exploring how we can preserve the rich editorial content from Nina Protocol and its community. More to come soon.
