With Follower Exclusive Releases, you can share music exclusively with your followers on SoundCloud, giving them early access to upcoming tracks, work-in-progress demos, or releases before anyone else. Non-followers can see the track exists but will be prompted to follow you to unlock it, making a SoundCloud follow worth more.

This feature is only available to Artist Pro subscribers. 

Setting a track as Follower Exclusive during upload

When uploading a track on either your desktop or your mobile iOS and Android app, you can set it as Follower Exclusive. Select Follower Exclusive under Privacy, complete your track details, and click Save.

Once saved, your followers will have immediate access to the track. You should then share the link across your other socials and non-followers will be required to follow to unlock these tracks.

Editing an existing track to be Follower Exclusive

You can also update any existing track to be follower exclusive at any time.

1. Go to your profile and find the track you want to update, or go to your track page
2. Click the Edit (pencil) icon
3. Under the Privacy section, select Follower Exclusive
4. Click Save

Note: this only works for tracks that you have uploaded directly to SoundCloud and not through the supply chain through a distributor or label.

Tips:

• Share your follower exclusive tracks on your other social platforms to bring listeners back to SoundCloud
• Use it for pre-releases, demos, or exclusive content to reward your most loyal fans
• You can switch a track back to public at any time by editing the Privacy setting
