Your Feed and how it works
Your Feed helps you discover new tracks and keeps you up to date with the people you follow. We have just released a major update to the Feed on mobile (iOS and Android), splitting the Feed into two tabs: Discover and Following. On the web, Feed will continue to just be the Following feed for now.
Please note: It’s only possible to see one post or repost of a specific track in your Following Feed. Initially, all tracks are "posted" by a creator in the feed; however, if someone that you follow reposts the track, the repost will be shown at the top of your feed and erase any post of the same track from another user if it's further down in your feed.
Mobile (iOS and Android)
The mobile Feed is split into two tabs: Discover and Following. Both tabs are designed to make it easier than ever to get a taste of music before deciding if you want to listen to more. The preview you hear has either been hand-picked by the artist or by our AI tagging tool to select what is most exciting for you.
You can click into a track to listen to the full song, or swipe down to hear the next track. If you finish listening to the full clip, it will play again from the beginning.
Discovery Tab:
The Discovery tab helps you discover new music & artists, based on what you’ve liked and listened to and who you follow. Every recommendation is personalized for you and contains an explanation for why it was selected.
The more you like and follow, the more your recommendations will adjust.
Following Tab:
The Following tab shows new releases and reposts from people that you follow in reverse chronological order. You also can see what people have captioned their reposts in the Following Feed.
You can unfollow users to stop their new uploads and reposts from appearing in your Feed. Any older tracks or playlists will also disappear.
